• Vin Plate: All cars since 1989 have one of these. They are usually located under the bonnet, at the bottom of the windscreen on the passenger side, or along the driver’s side door closure area.
• Compliance Plate: These are usually found in the car’s engine bay, door pillar or footwell. It will include the words “manufactured to comply with” to show that it complies with Australian standards.
