The clear coat on the bonnet, roof , boot and upper doors starts to peal and fade because of the Australian sun. The life expectancy of the clear coast is about 10 years, if the vehicle is not garaged regularly.
When starts it keeps going! so it needs to be stripped back to bare metal and started again with 2 coats of colour and then a coat of clear.
